The site seems to have been around for a while. But a site that says last updated in 2004 (now a blank screen) and said they just merged with NES Land when I know myself NES Land was with NES Channel back last year (NES Channel is dead too)! Like the Grim Reaper, I now pronounce you dead!

All that's left to the site is an intro page sadly. I was told by Cracked8Ball that 8-bit Nirvana was ran back in 1999-2000 by two guys named Battl and The Doctor. It started on geocites before moving to disflux.net, and died when disflux went down. Each site has its story I guess.

A pretty dull site which is basically a journal entry of this guy who says some shit about his life which sometimes resolves around the NES... I think. There's reviews, articles, as well as a collection he owns, but other than that the site is rather black and white (literally). Also, this dick licker actually dissed the FANZ on the guestbook, so... he gets no love here.

A site that encouraged me to collect NES games and to relive my childhood in a sense. This site is all about the cartoon "Captain N: The Game Master" and more stuff. It used to be called, Captain N Online but is now, The Captain N Network.

A site hosted by classicgaming.com, this is by far the greatest Castlevania site. Back years ago, this site taught me more than I ever knew about the series... a site is powerful when it can do that. In 2006, the site was revamped by a site called the Inverted Dungeon.

Classic High Scores is devoted to... the high scores of all gamers (no duh). I love these sites! This site in particular dealt with scores from Genesis, NES, and SNES.

A site from Canada that is dedicated to all video games classic which includes the Sega Master System, NES, and SNES. Decent site and all but the guy has no name so he is now known as Unknown.

ClawX, a fairly-well known dude in the NES Scene who supposedly lives in St. John's, NL (capital city of the place where I'm from). Anyways, way back when he made a site, comically titled, Claw's PeNES. Funny, huh? See, Claw has this funniness about him... he's not afraid to speak his mind and he curses a lot... its all over this site. Well, back in the NES Channel days (early 2005) he decided to finally update his site and added a couple of stuff and fix up the intro. At least its good for viewing now... check it out!

A NES site hub of many NES sites which included: NES Nation, NES World Wide, NES Fort, Nintendo Intensity!, NES Site #0510, NES-A-Thon, NES Life, NES Land and NES Alternative, it was created in Jan. 2005 and died near the end of 2005, sadly. The hub with the pathetic link button died for reasons I can't answer. It had lots of potential and probably could've been used to host many other great sites or even merge all the sites into one huge site. Ironically enough, upon bring back NES Nation they did close a lot of sites just to put it in Nation. Of course, it was only a matter of time until the whole thing fell apart due to lack of interest or a two-faced staff: you be the judge.

The very first forum I ever signed up in and my favorite I might add. There was just something about it. It used to be called NES Future Forums, I guess the new name suited it better. It was later hacked into by Slayer X and killed. Another attempt at NES Channel Forums was made by resurrecting NES Nation Forums as well as NES Nation itself. A site that was marred with controversy none the less. There was even a mock site of NES Land called, "NES Planet". You could say the site from the "Land Down Under" fell under.

NES Nation has been killed off and resurrected that many times, I'm not even sure what to say here. Its last resurrection was in 2005 when the boys at NES Channel hosted it there, and then gave it its own URL. None the less, even though they combined many sites into Nation (NES World Wide comes to mind) and along with all of the other hundreds of stuff it had, it still looked like shit! "It's supposed to be up forever this time.", my ass! The design looks and reeks of 1995 and its a bad layout. If a site has been dropped so many times, why bother bringing it back again? They should've merged Nation into NWW... at least that one had a better layout and a fresh staff.

A nicely designed site, the Fake NES Games section was awesome. This site is a rare breed, one that doesn't waste it's time on useless reviews and codes. Instead it gives the people what they really wanna see, somebody blowing NES carts to pieces with firecrackers! There's a lot of interesting info to be found as well, including a section that compares NES betas to final releases. Anybody looking for a current NES site should check this one out.

As of right now, on Dec. 8/06, ClawX supposedly owns it now. Oh, as of Dec. 21/06, C8B owns it! What a swerve!

A site hosted by classicgaming.com, all the info on Ninja Gaiden is covered here... from the arcade version in the 80's to the Shitbox version of 2004. The only negative point of this site is the fact that he blames the failure of Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for SNES on Nintendo when it was really Tecmo's fault.

One of the greatest sites I have ever visited in my life, I first discovered this site when looking up something on Ice Hockey and came across the Ice Hockey review and was greeted with a nice MIDI version of the zamboni song. The NUCG was a collaboration of various NES Scener's: Jason Vincton (Nintendo-A-Gogo), FlowingMindSpin (NES Chedda), ClawX (Claw's PeNES), Dan Giglio (NESFAQs), and MinkisP (NES Chedda). It was a nice idea; all these dudes developing things like reviews, shrines, articles, and even songs to display in sections that represent buildings as if on a REAL campus! For example, the reviews were held in "Review Windmill Center", "Shrine of Dhama" for shrines and get this, ClawX's hate is represented and kept in, "Claw's Dragon Warrior Hate Center"! The boys were truly on to something... not sure why it died. I guess lack of stuff happening or somethin'.

By far the best Spanish NES site I've ever seen! Seriously though, it looks like it has a lot of content including ROMs and emulators so if you speak the language check it out.

A site with reviews and dozens of other stuff including mods like controllers that light up and Lego NES consoles! A must-see.

Although more than just one page, Seanbaby's NES "page" is chocked full of funny articles on games like Ninja Gaiden, Mega Man, and let's not forget the infamous 20 worst games of the NES!

By some Australian dude, this was one of the first sites I read about pirates on the NES.

Another site done by Twitch which is by far the greatest he's done. A very innovative site which also features the infamous "24 hours of NES". This is only speculation, but the site could only be named after something from wrestling. Right?

It had a cool ring to it though: A dude from Final Fantasy makes an NES site and knows all forms of magic. If he had all that magic why not bring the NES back to life or make thousands of copies of games or create his own. Heck, why not make a better site?

A really nice NES site. Very interesting to see all the info on these games like proto-types and unreleased. I read everything on there the first night I found it! In case you were wondering, TRM (Dave) used to own the site until it was passed on to another guy who has three digits in his name and then brackets.

This sites sole purpose was to bring back the NES. Of course, when the guy saw those e-Reader Cards, he thought his work was done, and then archived the site. Oh well, the petition is still up and you can still sign your name there, if that even counts... but who cares. Sign it anyway!

A pretty cool site which has details of info on the NES, Famicom, and FDS. There's also a section on artwork... which all look awesome. WOEN has finally updated which is good to see!

A neat site with a Zelda theme with all sorts or review. The site also branches into a SNES site... if you want to go there. Right, right here, he found out about connecting more than one Game Genie together to use more than 3 lines of code. He inspired this.
